Oddity is my passion project and the beginning of all new creative endeavors for me.

I was born and raised in Florida and am now based in Chicago. I did sports as a kid (which made me rather competitive), and became a full on band kid from middle school through college. In college I studied many things including journalism, visual arts, and architecture. I found cooking initially as a way to survive but it has proved to be something worth pouring my energy into.

I have no experience in writing… so forgive me while I learn please :)

There are no distinct culinary memories growing up that brought me to cooking food and I have no attachment to any specific cuisine either. I enjoy food done well and shared with good people. Simple. I hope to create spaces where others who share this sentiment can meet and connect over fulfilling meal and drink. Community first always.
